The Atchison County Clerk's Office wants to remind voters of several important dates and voting opportunities for the 2026 General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
📅 Registration Deadline
October 13, 2026 – Registration Books Close
Please note that this deadline is commonly cited as K.S.A. 25-2311(a)(3) rather than (5). Voters must be registered by this date to participate in the General Election.
🗳️ Election Day Voting Hours
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Polling locations throughout Atchison County will be open from:
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
✅ Public Test of Voting Equipment
A public test of the voting equipment to be used in the 2026 General Election will be conducted beginning at 7:00 a.m. on:

A secure ballot drop box is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week outside the:

Advance ballots may be returned at any time. To be counted, ballots must be deposited in the drop box no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
